A couple of years ago we found this amazing life-giving organization doing incredible things to make a difference in the world water crisis. They have inspired our family to partner with them to help bring clean water to the poorest in the world. It has been incredible to see our kids get excited about making a difference and we are all looking forward to seeing our efforts first hand by traveling to Guatemala this summer to dedicate the well we donated last year. This year we have decided to multiply our efforts by getting the word out about CauseLife and invite family and friends who may be looking for a place to give, to partner with us in providing the gift of life through the giving of clean water.
The campaign we are starting this year is the Choose Water Challenge, where through this web page we are inviting you to give up beverages you would normally purchase and choose to drink water instead. Then we are encouraging you to set aside what you would have spent on pop, alcohol, coffee, etc. and give to CauseLife to provide clean water to those in need. So as you choose to join us you are not only choosing water to drink, but you are also choosing to give clean water to the poorest in the world.
Our goal is to raise enough money this year to fund both a shallow well and a deep bore well.
- $5,000 = shallow well (clean water for up to 500 people a day)
- $15,000 = deep bore well (clean water for up to 1,000 people a day)
That means if 200 people picked one week to give up their beverage of choice and gave only $25 we could provide an entire shallow well.
